GV Tech Team Gather at Lord’s

GVAV’s technical team recently came together at the Peerless-AV Showcase 2026, held at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground on 12^th – 13^th May, for two days of product demonstrations, technical insight sessions and networking with manufacturers and industry peers.

The annual showcase brought together a wide range of leading AV brands, highlighting the latest developments across audio, LCD and LED display technology, workplace solutions, digital signage, signal processing, AV-over-IP and video signal management.

This year’s event also marked the launch of the Rise AV mentoring programme, providing the opportunity for mentors and mentees to connect, whilst reinforcing the importance of initiatives such as Rise in supporting career development and greater representation within the AV industry.

Throughout the two-day event, the GVAV technical team had the opportunity to engage in more detailed discussions through dedicated presentations with manufacturers including Biamp, iiyama, Peerless-AV, SurgeX, Huddly, Lenovo and Q-SYS.

At the close of the first day, attendees gathered on the Centurian Terrace for an evening drinks reception, providing a valuable opportunity to continue conversations and share insights from the event.

The GV team also enjoyed more informal networking opportunities across both evenings, helping to continue technical discussions and connect with colleagues from across the branches.
