GVAV win Lumens Award at ISE
GVAV were delighted to accept the Lumens Award for System Integrator of the Year at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2023 exhibition.
Our South-West team have been recognised for their hard work throughout 2022 with an award from Lumens Digital Optics.
Robert Jones, Sales Manager for Europe at Lumens, presented GVAV with the System Integrator of the Year award at their ISE stand on Wednesday.
Joint Managing Director Kristian Cutting and Group Technical Director Dan Victory were present to accept the award while visiting the show in Barcelona.
As well as other audio visual installation work carried out across the South-West last year, this award recognises GVAV's work at Swansea University.
In a massive upgrade, over 40 rooms across Swansea's Singleton and Bay campus were fitted with new displays, control systems and switching, as well as enhanced audio solutions.
More than 60 Lumens cameras were installed across the campus for lecture capture.
With different room sizes requiring different solutions, four different Lumens models were selected including their clever and intuitive auto-tracking rage:

- VC-A52SW PTZ Cameras
- VC-BC601P IP Box Cameras
- VC-BC301PB 4K IP POV Box Cameras
The upgraded suites mean Swansea University can adapt more easily to a world of hybrid and remote teaching, giving staff more teaching options, and students more value and opportunities in their learning.
