The Technical Project Support role is an interesting and varied position and involves working with our project team in the co-ordination of projects from the initial tender stage and system design through to project planning, execution and handover documentation.

Additionally, there will be a requirement to offer remote support to our established customer base where possible. Working with both the sales and engineering teams the role will ensure each project is delivered on time and within budget.

The role will include elements of technical system design with support to account and project managers through product specification, collaborating on production of technical documents such as scope of works, system design drawings, schematics and other information for tender submission.

Additionally, as projects progress there will be aspects of system testing and configuration in our workshop and administrative tasks such as compilation of data for inclusion within the Operations and Maintenance manuals submitted to our clients.

A passion for AV and the desire to work with all members of the team is essential.

Your skills and key characteristics

  • Experience in system design and schematic creation is also highly desirable, as are accreditations in AVIXA / InfoComm CTS and other industry accreditations.
  • A highly detail-oriented approach in all aspects is required.
  • Flexible and adaptable, often working to tight deadlines with occasional additional hours.
  • As a key member of the team, you will need to be an excellent and disciplined communicator.
  • IT literacy - Extensive use of MS Office, Visio, AutoCAD LT and other custom software however training will be provided for the successful candidate as required.
  • Willingness to take on a variety of other tasks when the business requires it, including some potential travel within the South West and South Wales when assisting our project teams.
