The Account Manager (Sales) is responsible for both managing and growing relationships with existing clients, and to generate new business leads to drive revenue. This role involves understanding client needs, identifying sales opportunities within existing and new accounts, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services..
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building strong, long-lasting relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
- Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.
- Support the sales process, working closely with the Branch Manager and to identify opportunities and facilitate client engagement.
- Provide regular reports on account activity, progress against targets, and potential risks or opportunities.
- Proactively address client concerns, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction to foster long-term partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and client developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with other team members and internal stakeholders to share best practices and contribute to overall sales success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required and commensurate with the responsibilities of this position.
- Undertake all duties and responsibilities in compliance with the company policies and procedures e.g. adhere to and comply with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Candidate Specification:
Essential:
- Previous experience in sales.
- Excellent communication skills and client focused.
- A highly detail-oriented and organised approach in all aspects is required.
- Flexible and reliable, often working to tight deadlines with occasional additional hours.
- As a key member of the team be an excellent and disciplined communicator.
- Experience of running a sales territory and sales planning process.
- Positive drive and hunger to succeed in sales in a multi-faceted team environment.
Desirable:
- Experience working within the Audio-Visual sector/environment.
- Understanding of, and interest in Audio-Visual technology.
